Privacy

Dinkmix runs pickleball open play: players check in, the app picks the games, and everyone sees the courts and the queue. This page says what that needs to store, who can see it, and what you can ask us to do with it. No accounts, no ads, no selling data.

What we store

For each event

• The event’s name, venue, date, courts, levels and rules, as the organizer set them.
• Each player’s name (whatever they or the organizer typed, a nickname is fine), level, check-in and check-out times, the games they played, partners, opponents, results and scores.
• The organizer PIN, stored scrambled (hashed) so even we can’t read it.

About the phone or computer you use

• A random ID that your browser gets on its first visit. It lets your phone stay “you” at an event (and lets an organizer’s phone stay the organizer) without an account. It isn’t linked to your phone number, email or any other app.
• On your own device only (browser storage, never sent to us as a profile): your last name and level for faster check-in, the events you joined or organized, and organizer PINs.

How Dinkmix is used

• What was done and when (for example “checked in”, “game finished”, “opened the player list”), tied to the event and that random ID, never to a name. We use it to see which features help and where organizers get stuck.
• For organizers: the website that brought you to Dinkmix (for example Google or Facebook) and, if you answer it, how you heard about us.
• Feedback you choose to send, and your answer to the short questions after an event.

Who can see it

• Anyone with the event link sees the names, levels, courts, queue, results and leaderboard. That’s how open play works: it’s what the TV board shows. Event pages are hidden from search engines.
• The event’s organizers (anyone with its PIN) can change players and results.
• We (Dinkmix) can see everything above, to run and improve the app. We don’t sell it, rent it or share it for advertising.

Services we use

• Supabase stores the data (servers in Singapore).
• Vercel hosts the website. Its analytics count page visits without cookies and without identifying you.

There are no ad networks, social media trackers or cookies for tracking.

How long we keep it

Events and their results are kept so leaderboards, podiums and shared cards keep working, including for players who look back later. Ask us and we’ll remove a name or a whole event.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it removed. Write to ngsison@outlook.com with the event link and the name, and we’ll take care of it.

Changes

When Dinkmix starts storing or sharing something new, this page changes first, with a new date at the top. Questions? See How it works or write to us.
